ILO Officially Launching in Dar es salaam

The government of Tanzania has vowed that it will collaborate with all stakeholders involved in addressing the HIV/Aids scourge in both formal and informal workplaces. It has been established.
Speaking to invited dignitaries today during the official launching of the HIV Corridor Economic Empowerment Innovation Fund in Dar es Salaam, the Minister for Labour and Employment, Ms Gaudentia Kabaka (MP) said that all what they need is commitment from all stakeholders by abiding to ethics and professionalism during the course of the project activities.
“I also have been informed that the programme aims at attaining increased availability of social and economic services to vulnerable groups which includes increased access to HIV and Aids prevention and impact mitigation service,” she said.
She said that the government appreciates the work that has been done by the ILO and SIDA for coming up with the programme which is going to be implemented in six countries such as Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Zambia.
On his part International Labour Organization (ILO), Deputy Director in Tanzania, Hopolang Phororo said that the project seeks to complement conventional methods of HIV prevention.
“This is by stimulating economic opportunities through the promotion of decent work for populations located along selected transport corridors,
“In order to provide viable empowerment channels to mitigate the impact of the HIV and Aids epidemic for these vulnerable communities,” she said.
She added that, at the same time, the project equips people with relevant information on HIV prevention and facilitates access to treatment, care and support, thereby contributing towards Zero New HIV infections.
HIV Corridor Economic Empowerment Innovation Fund is a project initiated by International Labour Organization (ILO) and Swedish International Development Organization (SIDA) in the fight against the HIV/ Aids disease.

Double Tree Hotel yatoa taa 200 kwa shule ya Msingi Maskul Fundo

Hoteli ya Double Tree by Hilton ya jijini Dar es Salaam imeendelea na kampeni zake kabambe ya matumizi ya nishati ya jua kwa kugawa taa 200 kwenye shule ya Msingi Maskul Fundo, Jimbo la Gando kisiwani Pemba, Moblog linaripoti.
Akizungumza kwenye hafla hiyo fupi ya kugawa taa hizo jana, Waziri wa Habari, Utamaduni, Utalii na Michezo, Ndugu Said Ali Mbarouk ambaye ni Mwakilishi wa Jimbo la Gando, amesema kwamba msaada huo wa Double Tree kwa shule hiyo ni kielelezo tosha kwamba sekta binafsi zina mchango mkubwa katika sekta ya elimu hapa nchini.
“Napenda kuchukua fursa hii adhimu kuwashukuru uongozi na wafanyakazi wote wa Double Tree kwa msaada wao mkubwa kwa shule yetu ya hapa Gando ambapo watoto wetu watasoma katika mazingira rafiki yatayowawezesha kufaulu mitihani yao,’ alisema Mbarouk.
Waziri Mbarouk amesema kwamba kutokana na mabadiliko ya tabia nchi Serikali, wananchi na wadau wote wa maendeleo hawawezi kuendelea kutegemea umeme wa vyanzo vya maji na badala yake umeme wa jua ambao ni nishati mbadala ni ufumbuzi wa tatizo la nishati nchini.
Amesema mchango wa sekta binafsi katika maendeleo ya nchi hasa kwenye nishati ni muhimu kwa sababu ni nishati ndio injini ya Uchumi wa taifa lolote lile hapa duniani kwa sasa.
‘lakini kampeni hizi zitakuwa msaada mkubwa kwa wanafunzi kutambua na kuelewa nishati mbadala na umuhimu wake katika maisha ya kila siku ikiwemo mazingira,” alisisitiza
Hoteli ya DoubleTree ilizindua rasmi kampeni ya matumizi ya nishati ya jua ambayo itadumu kwa muda wa miaka miwili katika shule za msingi nchi nzima miezi kadhaa iliyopita.
DoubleTree itakuwa ikigawa taa 200 za mezani zenye kutumia nishati ya jua kwa wanafunzi wa darasa la saba kwa shule tofauti kila mwezi, lengo likiwa nikuwafanya wawe na ufahamu zaidi juu ya chanzo kingine cha umeme ambacho ni rafiki wa mazingira kwa kupitia mafunzo katika madarasa yao.

Severina Lwinga Ndiye Miss Personality 2013

Severina Lwinga afanikiwa kuingia katika fainali ya Miss Tanzania na kuungana na washiriki wengine na kukamilisha idadi ya watu watano mpaka sasa. Lwinga alilikwaa taji la Miss Personality baada ya kuwashinda warembo wenzake.
Mrembo Severina Lwinga juzi alifanikiwa kuwa mrembo wa tano kuingia nusu fainali ya shindano la Redd's Miss Tanzania 2013 baada ya kutwaa taji la Miss Personality 2013. Mshindi wa taji hilo anapatikana kwa kupigigiwa kura na warembo wenzake.

Severina ameungana na Miss Tanzania Photogenic 2013, Happiness Watimanywa, Miss Tanzania Talent 2013, Prisca Clement, Miss Tanzania Top Model 2013, Narietha Boniface na Miss Tanzania Sports Woman, Clara Bayo kuingia katika nusu fainali ya Miss Tanzania ambayo itafanyika Jumamosi hii ukumbi wa Mlimani City. Shindano hilo lilifanyika Mgahawa wa AK'S ulipo mtaa wa Samora.
 Warembo walioingia tano bora ya Miss Personality 2013 shindano lililofanyika katika magahawa wa AK'S uliopo Mtaa wa Samora jijini Dar es Salaam.

Warembo watano ambao wamefanikiwa kuingia hatua ya nusu fainali ya Redd’s Miss Tanzania 2013 wakiwa katika picha ya pamoja mara jana. Kutoka kushoto  ni Miss Tanzania Photogenic 2013, Happiness Watimanywa, Miss Tanzania Talent 2013, Prisca Clement, Miss Tanzania Personality, Severina Lwinga, Miss Tanzania Top Model 2013, Narietha Boniface na Miss Tanzania Sports Woman, Clara Bayo.
Warembo wakiingia katika Mgahawa wa AK'S uliopo mtaa wa somora Dar es Salaam kushiriki shindano la Miss Personality.
 
 Warembo wakiwa ndani ya mgahawa wa AK'S jijini Dar es Salaam.
 Mkurugenzi wa Lino International Agency, Hashim Lundenga ambao ndio waandaaji wa Miss Tanzania akiwa na Mkurugenzi wa Mgahawa wa AK'S, Kishan.
 Warembo wakiwa eneo la juu la mgahawa huo ambako kuna patikana viywaji vya kila namna pamoja na burudani kali ya muziki.
Warembo wakiburudika kwa Disco safi lililopo ndani ya mgahawa huo wa Kimataifa wa AK'S.

 Mrembo Clara Bayo akipunga mkono mara baada ya kutangwazwa kuwa mshindi wa Taji la Redd's Miss Tanzania Sports Woman 2013 juzi wakati wa tamasha la michezo la warembo wanao wania taji la Miss Tanzania 2013. Bayo alifanya vyema katika michezo kadhaa na kujizolea point nyingi na kuwashinda warembo wengine 29.

Kwa Taji hilo Clara Bayo ambaye anatoka Kanda ya Ilala, amekuwa mrembo wa nne kuingia nusu fainali za Mashindano hayo makubwa ya urembo nchini ambayo fainali zake zitafanyika Ukumbi wa Mlimani City Septemba 21 mwaka huu.

 Warembo walichuana vikali kaika soka huku timu za Redd's na Zanzi zikichuana na Zanzi iliyoongozwa na nahodha na mfungaji bora Happines Watimanywa ikishinda kwa goli 2-1.
Michezo mingene mbalimbali ilifanyika kama kukimbia, kukimbia na magunia, kuruka chini, Volleyball na kuogelea ilifanyika.
